CALL FOR PAPERS
LOCATION INTELLIGENCE TRACK

HICSS-58

Jan 7, 2025 - Jan 10, 2025

Waikoloa Village, Big Island, Hawaii, USA

Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to submit research papers to the LOCATION INTELLIGENCE TRACK<https://hicss.hawaii.edu/tracks-57/location-intelligence/> at the Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences<https://hicss.hawaii.edu/> (HICSS-58, Waikoloa Village, Big Island, Hawaii, USA, Jan 7-10, 2025).

HICSS is known worldwide as one of the longest-standing working scientific conferences in Information Technology Management. HICSS provides a highly interactive working environment for top scholars from academia and industry from over 60 countries to exchange ideas in various areas of information, computer, and system sciences. Papers published in HICSS proceedings have been cited extensively across a spectrum of disciplines for many years.

Location Analytics has emerged as an important set of concepts, tools, and techniques with increasingly critical applications in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. The entire geospatial industry has grown to be a worldwide market of $430 billion (MarketsandMarkets, 2021), fueled by advances in GIS spatial technology and a growing demand by organizations for location analytics across a spectrum of industries. The global location analytics market is projected to grow from USD 18 billion to USD 33.2 billion during 2022-2027 (MarketsandMarkets, 2022), fueled by the rising adoption of IoT and increasing demand for geospatial software services in various sectors and industries.

This year, the Location Intelligence Track<https://hicss.hawaii.edu/tracks-57/location-intelligence/> has four mini-tracks, listed and described in the Track Description on the HICSS-58 Website. Do not hesitate to contact the mini-track chairs if you have any questions.
