July 6-7, 2024 in Shanghai, China
The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies is transforming every aspect of business practices, introducing both challenges and opportunities for AI for business research. In response to these challenges and opportunities, the Summer Workshop on AI for Business (SWAIB) is a premier conference dedicated to research that develops novel AI models, algorithms, and methods to solve challenging problems in business and society. The workshop offers a platform for groundbreaking AI studies that solve business and societal problems from the lens of computational design science, ranging from finance, marketing and operations problems to healthcare, cybersecurity, and energy problems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Machine/deep learning models and algorithms
Generative AI for business and society
Models and algorithms to improve the trustworthiness of AI
Evaluation of the trustworthiness of AI algorithms
AI for Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity for AI
Human-AI interaction
Explanation, transparency, bias and safety of AI
Training and fine-tuning of domain large language models
Prompt engineering of large language models
Data Simulation Methods to simulate business scenarios or customer be- havior
Generative AI for a personalized recommendation

Paper Submission Deadline: April 30, 2024
Notification of Paper Acceptance: May 10, 2024

Submissions in the form of abstracts are welcome:
The abstract should be no more than 500 words.
Use single-spaced text with an 11-point font, Times New Roman, and one-inch margins on all four sides, printable on 8.5 x 11-inch paper.
Include Title, Author Names, and Affiliations.
The email should have the subject line ”SWAIB Submission {Last Name of the First Author}”.
The abstract should be attached as a PDF.
SWAIB does not take ownership of paper copyrights.
