Dear Colleagues,

we would like to invite you to submit your work to and attend our upcoming workshop on Quality in Databases QDB at VLDB2024. This event is a great opportunity to showcase your research, network with fellow scholars, learn from our invited keynote speaker, and gain practical experience from our industry session on data quality.

The workshop will take place on August 26, 2024, in Guangzhou, China, and will feature a **keynote presentation by Sebastian Schelter** about his research on data quality as well as an industry session in which Quanqing Xu will share his practical experience with data quality at Oceanbase.

In addition to the keynote and the industry session, we are accepting submissions for research papers and demo descriptions. This is an excellent opportunity to share your work and receive feedback from experts in the field, as we managed to win the interest of a great group of PC members. Please submit by May 31, 2024.

We welcome submissions on a wide range of topics related to data quality, including but not limited to data quality assessment for AI-based systems, data quality improvement / data cleaning for AI-based systems, data preprocessing and data preparation, and benchmark data sets to evaluate DQ assurance methods.

To learn more about the workshop, the topics of interest, and the submission process, please visit our website at https://hpi.de/naumann/s/qdb2024.html
