The Department of Information and Technology Management (ITM) at The
University of Tampa invites applicants for Visiting Assistant
Professor/Lecturer in Management Information Systems to start in the fall
2024 semester. This is a visiting position for only one academic year. Details

Responsibilities include teaching three four-credit hour undergraduate
introductory courses each semester in Management Information Systems. The
ability to teach systems analysis and design and networking is a plus. This
is in addition to assisting students both in and out of classroom while
adhering to all applicable department, college, and university policies and
procedures. The candidate must have a master’s or a PhD degree from an
AACSB/ABET accredited program or equivalent in Management Information
Systems or related field.
The department offers Bachelor of Science degrees in management information
systems, business information technology, financial enterprise systems, and
cybersecurity. The department also offers Master of Science degrees in
cybersecurity, business analytics, and information and technology
management. The Sykes College of Business is accredited by AACSB, and the
MIS program is accredited by ABET.
