Open Position for a Research Assistant Professor at the University of
Trento, Department of Information Engineering and Science (DISI) on
cybersecurity for AI augmented systems.

Research topic: definition of new research and new technologies based on
Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the identification and fixing of software
vulnerabilities. AI methods can be used to aggregate new sources of
software security data (e.g., repositories of code, software requirements
and specification, traceability of implementation, etc.) and use it for
improving security testing and automatic vulnerability repair. The work
will take place in the framework of the Horizon Europe Sec4AI4Sec project (
https://www.sec4ai4sec.eu)
Teaching activity: 20 hours MSc/PhD level on topics within the candidate's
research interest.
Language: Excellent knowledge of English. Italian is not required.
Salary: Starting gross salary is 37.000 Euro which can be increased up to
30% depending on the scientific profile and experience of the candidate
(Publications on conferences or journals CORE A-A * etc.). An additional
individual grant for travel and research is supplied by the Department.
