We invite submissions for our minitrack on “Technical, Socio-Economic, and Ethical Aspects of AI” at the 58th Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS-58), to be held from January 7-10, 2025, at the Hilton Waikoloa Village, Big Island, Hawaii. This minitrack seeks contributions addressing the technical, social, business, economic, environmental, and ethical dimensions of AI.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
• Large language models and generative transformer architecture
• Ethics, governance, and accountability of AI
• Human-AI interaction
• AI economics
We welcome papers employing a variety of methodologies, including but not limited to:
• Algorithm/system design
• Experiments
• Simulation
• Theoretical analysis

• Development of theoretical frameworks
• Qualitative inquiries
• Case studies
