A gentle reminder of the approaching nomination deadline of July 15, 2024

To all Editors-in-Chief of IS journals,

This is a call for nominating your journal’s best paper of 2023 for the AIS College of Senior Scholars Best Papers Awards.

Seeking nominations
Editors-in-chief (EiCs) may nominate one IS paper from their journal published during 2023 by sending a PDF version of the paper to me (ekarah at uga.edu<mailto:ekarah at uga.edu>). EiCs may not nominate papers which they (co)authored. The email subject should be: “Nomination for the AIS best IS publications of the Year Awards”.

Nomination deadline is July 15, 2024.

Award criteria
Papers must contribute to the IS field. The award will reflect the paper's contribution to theory in the IS field, its contribution to practice in the IS field, the uniqueness/originality of its ideas, and the quality of its arguments.

Selection Procedure
Members of the Best IS Publications of the Year Awards committee will oversee the selection of up to five best papers, with the assistance of a panel of reviewers drawn from the AIS College of Senior Scholars (http://aisnet.org/page/SeniorScholars).

We will be presenting the "Best IS Publications of the Year Awards" in person at a ceremony at ICIS 2024 in Bangkok. The best papers (up to five) will not be ranked.
