[AISWorld] About AIS conferences acceptance rates

Dear all,

Regarding the previous posting asking about the average acceptance rates for AIS conferences, the AIS data indicates that AMCIS typically accepts 66% of complete papers and emergent research forum papers (ERF), varying between 1 and 2 % from one year to the next. ICIS, on the other hand, accepts 27-29% of completed research papers.
Every year, the acceptance rate is announced during a lunch session.

I hope this information helps clarify this question.

Best regards,

Subject: [AISWorld] Conference Acceptance Rates?

Good afternoon Friends and Fellow Researchers around the world!

I hope your semester is going well.

I know that at many AIS conferences, the acceptance rate for that year is announced during one of the dinners.
I always wonder why AIS does not publish acceptance rates of our conferences on the AIS website?

Would you please help me verify the acceptance rates of the following conferences? (Well, I know some of them are not AIS, but I know a good number of you who attended 😊

Also any reliable written document/website that verifies that these conferences are double-blind reviewed would be very helpful.

ICIS 2005 Las Vegas, Nevada (11%?)
ICIS 2006 Milwaukee, Wisconsin (11%?)
ICIS 2007 Montreal, Canada (13%?)
ICIS 2008 Paris, France (9%?)
ICIS 2009 Phoenix, Arizona (9%?)

HCII 2005 Las Vegas, Nevada (21%?)
AMCIS 2014 Savannah, Georgia (50%?)

IFIP WG 2.13 Working Conference on Open Source Systems- 2007 Limerick, Ireland (19%?)

Thank you so much for your help!

Kind regards,
