You are invited to join the University of Auckland's IS seminar “Qualitative Research in IS: Current State, Future Opportunities”, Tuesday, October 1st, 1pm-4pm NZT.  The seminar will open with Professor Michael Myers' keynote talk reviewing the history and state of qualitative research in IS. In addition to Michael’s talk, Professors Suzanne Rivard, Suprateek Sarker and Andrew Burton-Jones will deliver talks on the topic.
The 3-hour seminar would offer a unique opportunity to learn about the history and recent  developments in qualitative traditions in IS, reflect on seminal studies in the field, and discuss how qualitative research has been evolving in recent years. The seminar will conclude by discussing “what’s next in qualitative IS research”.
