Call for Workshop Papers: 2024 IFIP WG 8.6 Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modelling (POEM 2024)

We invite submissions for the workshops associated with the 17th IFIP WG 8.6 Working Conference on the Practice of Enterprise Modelling (POEM 2024), scheduled to take place on December 3, 2024, in Stockholm, Sweden. These workshops aim to provide a platform for researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to share their latest findings, discuss innovative ideas, and foster collaborations in the field of enterprise modeling.

Workshop Topics

The following workshops will be part of POEM 2024, each focusing on specific themes relevant to contemporary enterprise modeling challenges:

1. Models4Simulation: This workshop explores the state and readiness of modeling and models for digital twin-based simulation. It aims to provide insights into current practices, address existing limitations, and outline future research areas to enhance the use of system and software models for simulating cyber-physical and socioeconomic systems.

2. Advancing Enterprise Modelling through Digital Transformation, FAIR Data Management, and Blockchain Integration: Focusing on the intersection of enterprise modeling, digital transformation, FAIR data management principles, and blockchain technology, this workshop seeks to enhance understanding and application of these concepts. Participants will engage in discussions to improve best practices and explore the implications of these technologies in enterprise environments.

3. FACETE - Foundations and Applications of Capabilities in Enterprises, and Transformations and ESG Initiatives: This workshop aims to bridge theory and practice in capability mapping, a critical tool in Enterprise Architecture and transformations. It will cover scientific foundations, including ontology, meta-models, and notations, and practical applications in strategic, digital transformations and ESG initiatives. The workshop will feature active discussions and practical presentations to foster collaborative research and understanding.
