We invite all doctoral students and other interested scholars to join our free online panel event titled “From Research to Real-World Change: Understanding and Maximizing Impact”! Don't miss this chance to learn how to make your research matter beyond academia.
The AIS Doctoral Student College is hosting a panel discussion on societal and industrial impact in academic research, taking place on Thursday, 7th November 2024, from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm UTC+1 (Central European Time). Four faculty panelists will share their insights and experiences on this important topic.
The 1.5-hour panel event will delve into the meaning of societal and industrial impact in research, with our panelists reflecting on how impact shapes their work. PhD students will also gain practical advice on how to consider impact early in their careers and how to effectively present their impact when entering the job market.
In addition to the panel discussion, there will be a Q&A session, allowing attendees to engage directly with the panelists.
The event is organized by the AIS Doctoral Student College Region 2 (Europe, Africa and the Middle East) team.
