This conference is dedicated to the exploration and improved understanding of forms and impact<BR>
of globalized IS processes. Public processes are becoming more global, and diffusion, adoption<BR>
and implementation issues are intensified by the globalization of processes. <BR>
</SPAN></FONT><SPAN STYLE='font-size:11pt'><FONT FACE="Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><BR>
</FONT><FONT FACE="Arial">Global Information Systems (IS) Processes (GISP) covers the interests of all TC8 Working Groups.<BR>
Global IS Processes can be modelled (8.1) and they will help change organizations in becoming virtual<BR>
and individualized (8.2). Changes in decision-making (8.3) and e-business systems (8.4) are some of<BR>
the most prominent examples of global processes. Further, public (8.5) processes are becoming more<BR>
global, and diffusion, adoption and implementation issues (8.6) are intensified by the globalization of<BR>
processes. Smart Cards (8.8) are global as are Enterprise Information Systems (8.9). This conference<BR>
is dedicated to the exploration and improved understanding of forms and impact of globalized IS processes.<BR>
A one day Doctoral Consortium will precede this conference.<BR>

<B>Instructions for paper submission:<BR>
</B>Papers must not substantially overlap with papers that have been published or are simultaneously submitted to a journal or another conference with proceedings. Papers must be written in English; they should be at most 12 pages in total, including bibliography and well-marked appendices. Papers should be intelligible without appendices, if any. Accepted papers will be presented at the conference and published in the IFIP AICT (Advances in Information and Communication Technology) Series by Springer. Submitted and accepted papers must follow the publisher’s guidelines for the IFIP AICT Series (www.springer.com/series/6102, Author templates, Manuscript preparation in Word). At least one author of each accepted paper must register for the conference and present the paper. Inclusion of the paper will be dependent upon one registration for the paper.<BR>
