Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite submissions to a Special Issue in the Scandinavian Journal of Information Systems<https://aisel.aisnet.org/sjis/>, titled:

"The AI Attack on Human Decision-Making: Can Machines Become Better Decision-Makers?"

The issue focuses on the integration of AI and human decision-making and the relevant implications and challenges. We invite original theoretical and empirical scientific contributions that investigate the evolving dynamics of hybrid decision-making environments and human-machine hybrid intelligence, regulatory frameworks and limitations, algorithmic aversion in decision-making, AI-induced sociotechnical biases, and the resulting impact on individuals, organizations, and society.

Full details, including suggested topics and the submission timeline, can be found in the attached call.

Submissions are due June 30th, 2025.

We look forward to your contribution and would appreciate it if you could share the call within your networks. Thank you!

Best regards,

The Guest Editors:
