[IRIS] Call for the Norwegian representative on the IRIS board

Dear IS colleagues in the Scandinavian community,

The IRIS board needs a new member and representative for Norway (4-years service) and this is your chance to influence the IRIS community and have your voice heard! I have been on the board the last 4 years and it has been a very rewarding experience. I highly recommend it.

The IRIS board is the board of the IRIS association, which is the Scandinavian Chapter of the AIS.

The members of the IRIS board are elected during the IRIS association business meeting that will take place during the SCIS/IRIS conference on August 10-13th. If you are not attending the conference you can still be a candidate and participate online when candidates are presented during the business meeting (on the 12th of August at ca 15.00).

The IRIS board has four members, one from each country in the IRIS Association and two PhD representatives. During the four years on the board, the members cover various roles, starting as observer, then secretary, then treasurer, and president in the last year. The board meets in person twice a year, and on line ca two times a year.
