Dear Colleagues,

Before the opening reception at ECIS 2026 in Milan, the AIS SIGHCI invites you to its Pre-ECIS Workshop on Human-Computer Interaction, from 14:00 to 18:30 CET (local time), on Sunday, June 14, 2026.

The event features 10 presentations of Completed Research and Research-in-Progress papers, followed by a Poster Session featuring seven more papers. The 17 papers being presented in just 4.5 hours (including a 30-min coffee break between 4-4:30pm) address a wide range of contemporary issues relevant to IS and HCI specifically, including:
🤖 Trust, reliance, and individual differences in Human–AI interaction
🕹️ Embodied interaction, simulation, and sociotechnical collaboration
💻 Digital work, wellbeing, and protective interaction design
🧠 Human-centered perspectives on AI, cybersecurity, digital fatigue, mental health, and virtual work

We are flexible with attendance, warmly welcoming you to either or both of the 2-hour sessions (leading up nicely to the ECIS Opening Reception that starts at 19:00 CET). The Workshop Program is already available on:
