The IS Area of the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University is looking for applicants to fill an open rank tenure track position in IS.

We are looking for candidates with strong research backgrounds to fill an open rank IS position for September 2011. Candidates must possess or be close to finishing a Ph.D in Information Systems upon starting the position. Teaching responsibilities may include undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. level courses.

The IS area counts eight professors, including Peter Todd, the Dean of the faculty (see http://www.mcgill.ca/desautels/research/specializations/is/). The Desautels Faculty of Management is an integral part of McGill and contributes to the University’s reputation and success through its academic programs, its faculty teaching and research, its innovative partnerships with the business community and its international outreach. The Faculty currently has 80 faculty members, 2120 undergraduate students and 795 graduate students (see http://www.mcgill.ca/desautels/)

Established in 1821, McGill University is an internationally known, research-intensive university. In 2009, it was 19th in the Times World University Ranking.
