The Heinz College, at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking applicants to
fill
a junior tenure- track faculty position in Information Systems starting in
September
2011. We are looking for people who are interested in how IT may transform
society,
businesses, markets, and economic processes.

Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of a Ph.D., and
should
demonstrate potential of excellence in research and teaching. In particular,
the
Heinz College offers professional masters degrees through its School
Information Systems and Management (http://ism.heinz.cmu.edu) and
prospective
candidates should be able to demonstrate an ability to teach within this
program.

Applicants should send their CV, 2 research papers, and three letters of
reference
to heinz-recruiting at andrew.cmu.edu. We will be interviewing candidates
during ICIS.
