Call for Papers


International Information Systems Conference (iiSC) 2011

Information Technology (IT) is regarded as an enabler of economic
development. Consequently GCC countries are putting increasing emphasis on
the adoption of IT, hoping to accelerate development in all sectors of their
industry, government and business. Realizing the importance of Information
Systems for sustainable development, the Information Systems Department,
part of the College of Commerce and Economics at Sultan Qaboos University,
is organizing an International Conference on Information Systems. The main
objectives of the conference are to:

 

  - Provide a forum to discuss the issues and challenges arising from IT/IS 

    adoption, as being faced by industry and government in Oman, and  

    other countries.

  - Bring together IT/IS Researchers and practitioners to learn from and

    share each other's experiences.

  - Promote research and collaboration in IT/IS by all stakeholders at
local, 

    regional and international levels.

 

IMPORTANT DATES

Full Paper Submission: 

March 30th, 2011

Notification to Authors: 

April 30th, 2011

Camera Ready Submission: May 30th, 2011

 

CONFERENCE TRACKS (TENTATIVE)

The conference would to invite papers on following tracks but not limited
to:
