IPID will sponsor some IPID members (PhD students and Master Students)
for participation at ‘ICT4D Symposium 2011’ with up to 4500 SEK. To be
eligible for funds, the student has to be currently affiliated to any of
SPIDER partner universities in Sweden. Additional costs will have to be
paid for by the participant (all other costs over the 4500 SEK). Please
note that you have to choose the cheapest options when booking
accommodation, flights etc, to allow for the maximum number of students
 to get funding.

You may use the following link to search cheaper flights:
http://www.dohop.com/flights/?a1=ARN&a2=LUG&return=1&d1=110911&d2=140911

Recommended accommodation is at http://www.ipid2011.com/accommodation

Participants
will be reimbursed for their expenses after the symposium (up to 4500
SEK). To be reimbursed you must save your receipts.

As the number of funded students are limited we give precedence to students that have papers in the symposium.

In addition, all funded students will be requested to contribute to the IPID wiki (http://www.ipip.se) by writing about their experiences with
the symposium and comments on the sessions/ panels.

Deadline for application of funding is July 15, 2011. Please send an open application with your motivation to M. Sirajul Islam (sirajul.islam at oru.se).

More information about ICT4D2011 symposium  and other funding opportunity can be found at http://www.ipid2011.com/

Best wishes,
