In Germany invites applications for a
 
Professorship in Information Systems (W2, Wirtschaftsinformatik)

with a focus on Enterprise Information Management

Responsibilities: 
The main focus of the Professorship is on Enterprise Information Management
and IS Research Methods. The candidate is expected to teach courses related
to both these areas in the undergraduate and graduate degree programmes in
Information Management and Information Systems (Wirtschaftsinformatik). The
successful candidate will be a recognized expert in Information Systems with
a strong focus on Information Management in both the private and public
sectors. Complementing the research of the existing Chairs of the Institute
for IS Research, the candidate is expected to build up their specialization
in integrated information management, including areas such as: enterprise
content management, document management, information lifecycle management,
information design, use-centered design methods and usability, information
assurance and compliance, and eDiscovery.  We are seeking a researcher with
a strong track record and international experience in teaching and research
with an international publication record in Information Systems and
Information Science. The candidate is expected to engage in research
consortia and to further develop the internationalization of the Faculty.
Experience in applying for and obtaining external research funding and in
managing research projects with international participation is highly
desirable.
