The School of Business and Economics at Michigan Technological University invites applications for a full-time faculty position in the area of Management Information Systems. Our School is seeking outstanding candidates for a non-tenure track position of Professor of Practice, Senior Lecturer, or Lecturer, depending upon experience and credentials. Starting date is negotiable but no later than August 2012. 



This individual will teach undergraduate courses and advise an on-campus student Enterprise which develops IT applications for firms and non-profit entities. Teaching areas include Business Programming Concepts (i.e. Java programming foundation skills and My SQL), Web Programming (e.g. Web Sphere), Telecommunications, and IS Projects. Successful candidates will possess a master degree with work experience or a PhD with college teaching experience. Candidates should send (1) a letter of application describing qualifications for the position, (2) a current CV, (3) a list of references, and (4) a one page summary statement describing teaching experience.
