[AISWorld] Call for Proposals for AMCIS 2012 SIGSAND Minitracks

Call for Proposals for AMCIS SIGSAND Minitracks:

We thank all the 2011 AMCIS SIGSAND minitrack chairs and participants for an outstanding track in Detroit. We are now soliciting minitrack proposals for AMCIS 2012.  We would like to continue many of the minitracks from AMCIS 2011, and we invite you to submit new proposals as well.

Minitrack proposals (for existing minitracks and new proposals) should be submitted online at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/amcis2012<http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/amcis2010>.  The minitrack timeline is shown below (note the deadline for minitrack proposals is Nov 16, 2011).  The limit for the number of co-chairs for a minitrack is three, and at least one of the minitrack chairs is expected to attend the conference.

Details on the Track:  Systems Analysis and Design (SAND)
Systems Analysis and Design (SAND) is of central importance to the information systems discipline. The SAND track provides a forum for discussing research related to activities occurring throughout systems development. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:

 *   Systems Analysis and Design Methodologies and Processes
 *   Modeling Methods, Techniques, and Languages
 *   Requirements Elicitation and Validation
 *   Analysis and Design for Service-Oriented Enterprises
 *   Contemporary Issues in Agile Development
 *   Strategic Software Management: Issues, Experiences, and Theory
 *   Managerial Issues in Open Source Development
 *   Technical Issues in Open Source Development
 *   Empirical evaluations of SAND methods and techniques
 *   User Participation in Information Systems Development

Deadlines:
Deadline for submission of Minitrack proposals: November 16, 2011
Track chair's recommendation for mini-tracks: November 20, 2011
Notification of acceptance of Minitrack Proposals: November 23, 2011
Official notice of call for papers posted on AIS: December 14, 2011
ScholarOne begins accepting paper submissions: January 1, 2012
