Tenure-Track Position (Associate or Full Professor)

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Division of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (UBC) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Associate or Full Professor level. Candidates should have a strong research interest and demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas in MIS: behavioral, organizational, and/or systems analysis and design:  Applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in information systems or related field, have a record of outstanding research publications in leading academic journals, an excellent record of performance in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, supervision of doctoral students, editorial board memberships of research journals, and significant service contributions to academia. We welcome applications from outstanding candidates who have a strong interest in interacting with IT and business management.

Duties include developing and maintaining an active research program aimed at making significant contributions to the academic profession, to teaching in the Undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. programs, as well as to the leadership of the research, teaching development, administrative, and professional outreach activities of the Management Information Systems Division and the Sauder School of Business. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities.
