Tenure-Track Position (Assistant Professor)

The Management Information Systems (MIS) Division of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (UBC) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates should demonstrate a strong research interest in one or more of the following areas in MIS: behavioral, organizational, and/or systems analysis and design. Applicants must be very close to completing or have completed a Ph.D. in information systems or a closely related field. Applicants must have a record of outstanding research and a demonstrated successful experience in teaching. We welcome applications from candidates who have a strong interest in interacting with IT and business management.

Duties include developing and maintaining an active research program aimed at making a significant contribution to the profession, teaching in the Undergraduate, MBA and Ph.D. programs, as well as contributing to other teaching and administrative initiatives of the Management Information Systems Division and the Sauder School of Business. Teaching and service requirements are similar to other research-intensive universities.
