The Department of Information & Operations Management (IOM) at ESCP Europe
in Paris invites
applications for a *full-time faculty position* in information systems for
September 2012.


ESCP Europe *(*http://www.escpeurope.eu/*) *is both a high-level school of
management with international scope and a large-scale European institution.
It was founded in Paris in 1819 and, since then, has educated generations
of leaders, contributing to the fine reputation it enjoys today. ESCP
Europe has five campuses in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid and Turin, with
an ambition to continuously contribute to the European and global economics.

The department of Information & Operations Management has a team of 8
professors based in several campuses (mainly Paris and Berlin) and has a
lab specialized on RFID technologies gathering professors from ESCP Europe
and other institutions (http://rfideuropeanlab.org/).


To be considered, candidates should have a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in
Information Systems, and show evidence of excellence both in research
(publications in international IS journals) and in teaching. Candidates
working in all areas of Information Systems are encouraged to apply. Rank
of appointment (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) and salary will be
commensurate with qualifications and experience. Ability to teach both in
English and French is desirable, but not essential.

candidate’s specific interests, an up-to-date vita, sample of working
papers, any teaching evaluations, and the names of three references
familiar with the candidate’s academic work. These documents should be sent

The final closing date for applications is January 30th 2012. However,
applications received before December 10th 2012 will be particularly
welcomed. Faculty members from the IOM Department will be present and will
conduct interviews at ICIS 2012 in Shanghai, China.
