An outstanding opportunity is available for an innovative researcher in the field of Green IS. The successful candidate will conduct research as part of the platform “Enabling Technologies for Sustainability” at the Institute for Advanced Sustainability Studies in Potsdam, Germany. The platform’s objective is to develop concepts and conduct research related to technologies that enable sustainability. The duration of the fellowship is from 3 to 6 months, and the position is open to all international applicants. The starting date is between September and December 2012, and the salary range depends on qualifications and expertise.
The Fellow is expected to pursue innovative research in the scope of Green IS (e.g. IT-enabled sustainability transformation, IT’s role in the Energiewende, supply chain management and sustainability, business intelligence and performance management for sustainability, energy informatics, green business models or green business process management). This research should eventually lead to a publication in a top-ranked journal. The Fellow will be supported by Senior Green IS experts from the IASS.
