Similar to the long standing Women's Breakfast at ICIS, at AMCIS this year I am organizing for the first time an early evening networking reception titled "Women in Is". Details of the event appear below: 
  
Title: Women in IS - Networking Reception 
Time and Date: Friday, August 10th, 6-7:30 p.m. 
Place: Sheraton, Seattle and exact room TBD 
Guest Speaker: Sarah Spratley, Program Manager with SAP Labs Canada 
Sponsor: Beedie School of Business, Simon Fraser University 
Registration: Not required 
Format: 15 minute presentation by Sarah Spratley, followed by networking and socializing
