Dear Colleagues,

The Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto is recruiting
Masters of Information students. Please share with students in your
courses and those you advise.

You may have observed an increase in the number of undergraduate
students who are uncertain about which direction to take after
graduation. While they enjoy their discipline of study, they desire to
use it as a wellspring to further interests in diverse areas.

The U of T iSchool provides rewarding degrees which may suit their goals
precisely. Students will capitalize on their undergraduate education
with the addition of scholarship in the global information economy. Our
two-year master's programs are ideal for entering professional practice
and for advanced study.

MASTER OF INFORMATION

In this innovative program information is explored in all its breath,
depth and richness. There is a choice for everyone among seven
concentrations including a professional masters in Information Systems
and Design and a thesis option. Graduates will be the next generation of
valued professionals who are able to lead the progression of information
systems design, organization, storage, access and retrieval,
dissemination, preservation, conservation and management. With a deep
understanding of the needs of society, career opportunities are found
across all industries and sectors.

Students are able to draw upon the rich resources of a diverse and
internationally recognized group of faculty and the depth of support
available at Canada's premier university in a thriving, multicultural
metropolitan city.
