Dear colleagues,

We have one or more Scientist positions at the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC), the Singapore Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), who are specialized in the following areas of interest:

1. Data/Text Mining
2. Social Media Research
3. Consumer Behaviors

Requirements:
*       A PhD degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or related fields
*       Solid research methodology training relative to the above areas of interest
*       Demonstrable independent research capabilities in terms of scholarly publications
*       Hands-on experience in empirical research, including designing, collecting and analyzing data
*       Highly motivated in applied research, ability to work independently as well as to cooperate with a team of interdisciplinary researchers
*       Prior experience in web application development, web-based data collection, and/or social media related research is a strong added advantage
