established Big Data research programs addressing disciplinary and
interdisciplinary business problems. This position is part of Georgia State
University’s (GSU) Second Century Initiative (http://secondcentury.gsu.edu)

problem domains: business, geosciences, and disease modeling. A number of
GSU units will support the hired individuals to drive a broad vision for
interdisciplinary and trans-disciplinary research.

Minimum requirements for the Big Data position in business are an earned

college or the university.

Successful candidates will have a record of prior publications and a strong

business and related disciplines. Ideal candidates will also have
complementary skills to enhance the quality of the college’s Ph.D. programs
and teaching capabilities that include executive graduate programs (e.g.,
specialized masters programs as well as college-wide interdisciplinary
