**** Second Posting ****

The OCIS Division of Academy of Management will sponsor a Junior Faculty Consortium on Friday 1 August 2014, prior to the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, PA.

--- Preregistration for the consortium is now available at https://secure.aom.org/pdwreg/logon.asp . Space is limited, so please register today! ---

The purpose of the Workshop is to explore strategies and helpful practices for developing successful academic careers. Over the years, the OCIS Junior Faculty Workshops have played a very important role in helping hundreds of individuals develop their careers and build professional relationships. This year's topics include publication quality and quantity, tenure and promotion, work-life balance and developing and fostering professional relationships and other topics of interest to participants.

The faculty counsellors for the 2014 Junior Faculty Consortium are:

Natalia Levina, NYU
V. Vallabh Sambamurthy, Michigan State University
Marshall Scott Poole, Univ of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
David R. Seibold, UC Santa Barbara
Youngjin Yoo, Temple University

All untenured faculty and post-docs with an interest in OCIS are invited to participate, so please make plans to attend.

If you have any questions about the Consortium or suggestions about topics you would like to see covered, please feel free to contact me (youngjin.yoo at temple.edu).

I look forward to seeing you in Philadelphia!
