The Computer Information Systems (CIS) Department in the College of Business at the University of Louisville invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor (open rank) in CIS to begin August 2015 or until the position is filled.  Preference will be given to candidates at the assistant professor level. The successful candidate should have either completed or expect to have completed a Ph.D. degree not later than July 1, 2015.  The candidate will have an ability to excel in teaching in the areas of object-oriented programming and business analytics.  Candidates should have a strong commitment to excellence in both research and teaching.  Candidates with a demonstrated track record of excellence in research would be preferred.  Salary and teaching load are highly competitive.
