There are currently 9 spots still available for the IS Women’s Network (ISWN) Pre-ICIS 2014 Workshop on Advancing Women in IS Academia, supported by the Elsevier Foundation, which will take place on Saturday, December 13, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Workshop Description: The focus of the workshop is on understanding the various issues affecting women in IS academia. It is intended to serve as the first in a series of workshops to discuss the challenges that women in IS academia face and how we can address them as a community.
Cost: There is no cost to attend the workshop. Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided during the event.

Please note that this event is separate from the IS Women’s Networking Event, which will take place on December 16 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. (location TBD) and should be registered for through your ICIS registration.
