CALL FOR TRACKS

The  9th Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems will be held in Samos on 3-5 October 2015, organized by the Information Systems Laboratory (ISL) of the Department of Information and Communication Systems Engineering, of the University of the Aegean, under the auspices of Association of Information Systems (AIS).   The main theme of this year's Conference is "Information Systems in a changing economy and society", reflecting the critical role Information Systems play for enterprises and administrations, in their effort to accommodate radical economic and societal changes.  MCIS 2015 invites academics and researchers, from all over the world but also especially from the Mediterranean region, to reflect on innovative research in information systems, from the point of view of a rapidly changing world.  
We cordially invite fellow researchers to propose tracks on their particular field of interest, on established and emerging topics, either on one of the following areas or proposing a new one:
*	Innovation through Information Systems
*	Digital Entrepreneurship and the Future Enterprise
*	Security and Privacy of Information and IS
*	Business Intelligence and Decision Support
*	Economics and the Value of IS
*	Social Media
*	Ubiquitous and Mobile Information Systems
*	Electronic Government 
*	Big, Open and Linked Data
*	Environmental Impact of IS (Green ICT)
*	Corporate Social Responsibility and Information Systems
*	IS learning and teaching
*	Healthcare Information Systems
*	Human-Computer Interaction
*	 Information and Enterprise Content Management
*	 Inter-Organizational Systems

Your responsibilities as a Track chair will be to promote the track, organise a peer review cycle for the papers submitted to your track and propose to the Program Committee the papers that will eventually be accepted for inclusion in the conference program.  Introductions to the tracks, co-authored by all track authors, will be included in the conference proceedings, to be published in the AIS Electronic Library.

Track proposals should include: 
*	names of the proposed chair / co-chairs
*	the proposed track title
*	a short description of the track aims and content (300-500 words) 
*	a short bio of each co-track chair (150 words each) .  

Track proposals should be e-mailed to the Program Committee Chairs (see emails below) by January 31st, 2015.
