The College of Business at Louisiana Tech University is accepting
applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor/Associate
Professor/Professor of Computer Information Systems (CIS).

Preference will be given to candidates who can contribute to our
Information Assurance program by teaching courses such as Information
Assurance, Risk Management, Cryptography and Digital Forensics and/or
teach classes in networking. Expertise in other areas will be
considered.  Research productivity is also required.

*__***The position is subject to final budgetary approval, effective
September 1, 2015. 

 

The minimum qualification is a doctorate in Information Systems, or a
closely related field,  from an AACSB international accredited
program.   Proven research productivity and/or demonstrated research
potential is also required.  Previous teaching experience and commitment
to classroom teaching (including proficiency in written and spoken
English) is essential. 

 

*__*The College of Business offers the only doctoral program in the
northern part of Louisiana and has been designated as an Area of
University Excellence.  The college offers BS, MBA, DBA, and Graduate
Certificate Programs in Information Assurance and Communication Systems.
The College is a NSA/DHS National Center of Excellence in Information
Assurance Education.
