Dear Friends,

We are delighted to invite you to participate in slam session of the 9th annual International Workshop on Grounded Theory Methods: Building Stronger Theories, to be held in Fort Worth, Texas, USA, December 16th, 2015, between 12:00 and 18:30hs.

The Troubleshooting Slam Session consists of a five minute presentations followed by five minute discussion, allowing researchers to discuss issues they are struggling with in using GTM during any stage of the project. To participate on the slam session please email Walter on w.fernandez at unsw.edu.au<mailto:w.fernandez at unsw.edu.au> by November 9nd, 2015 (extended by one week), providing an abstract (about 200 words) of your research and answering the following questions:

1) Will you commit to registering and attending the workshop if your presentation is selected?

2) Your name, affiliation, and stage of your career (e.g., PhD Student, untenured Faculty, tenured faculty).

3) One sentence formulating the issue you would like to address and get advice. Please focus on a question that is not easily answered through GTM textbooks.

4) One paragraph detailing NOT your research topic, but rather how you used GTM.

Note, that you are most welcome to attend the workshop without presenting. You will have opportunities to participate in the discussion throughout the program (attached) both through Q&A after each presentation as well as in the general discussion at the end of the workshop.
