16th Symposium on Production Research (ÜAS2016) with International
Participation -  Call for Papers: 

We are pleased to announce that “16th Symposium on Production Research
(ÜAS2016)” will be held at İstanbul Technical University in Istanbul,
Turkey between  12-14 October, 2016.

The Technical Programme Committee for the 16th Symposium on Production
Research (ÜAS2016) is seeking on best practices and case study
applications in all aspects of production and operations management
including lean production, total productivity management, data mining and
applications, optimizations, decision making, quality management,
innovative approaches to production management and so on.

The main goal of ÜAS2016 is to bring together researchers, scientists and
experts in universities, companies, institutions, communities, agencies,
associations and societies to provide them a unique platform for sharing
worldwide ideas as well as the recent developments on production and
operations management  and technology.

Special sessions, invited speakers, poster and oral presentations, and
thesis presentations will be included to the conference program.

The conference language is Turkish and English.  

We invite you to submit papers and proposals for special sessions on
production and operations management.

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers following the
guideline posted on the conference website
http://www.uas2016.itu.edu.tr/en/about/topics/.

Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed (check review process in the
conference website), and prospective authors are expected to present their
papers at the conference. The accepted papers will be published in the
proceedings.

The selected studies among the presented papers at the symposium will be
invited for a possible publication in the special issue of following
indexed journals: Journal of Enterprise Information Management, - JEIM,
International Journal of Information Systems in the Service Sector - JISSS,
İ.Ü. İşletme Fakültesi İşletme İktisadı Enstitüsü YÖNETİM
Dergisi, International Journal of Business Analytics
