Dear Doctoral Students,



Please note that the Call for Participation in the Doctoral Consortium as part of the Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems (MCIS) that will take place in Cyprus (Aquamare Beach Hotel & Spa) on Sunday September 4, 2016 has been extended to Wednesday JULY 13. The MCIS Doctoral Consortium seeks to help Information Systems doctoral students in the latter part of their doctoral studies to develop an effective career plan based on their personal and professional goals. The consortium has two primary objectives: 1) provide networking opportunities for doctoral students with peers and senior faculty and 2) help doctoral students strategize about their research, teaching, and career plans.

Application Criteria

Students wishing to participate in the MCIS 2016 Doctoral Consortium should:
1.       Be studying Information Systems and address an Information Systems-related topic for their dissertation.
2.       Be currently working on their dissertations and will not have defended their dissertations by the Doctoral Consortium date (September 4, 2016).



The Doctoral Consortium chairs will review each application. The review process would focus on the applicants' accomplishments and potential. Several students may apply from each school. The number of participants in the Doctoral Consortium is limited. Applicants will receive confirmation of acceptance to attend the DC by July 22, 2016.

Please submit the following materials via email to MCIS2016DC at gmail.com<mailto:MCIS2016DC at gmail.com> by July 13, 2016 (midnight Cyprus time). Please create a SINGLE pdf file that includes all three required material and submit the single pdf file via email. Please include your name in the name of the file.
*         Completed application form as a word document (please visit our website for attachment).
*         Extended abstract of your dissertation (not to exceed two single-spaced pages).
*         Curriculum vitae.



Cost

Participation in the Doctoral Consortium is FREE of charge for accepted participants.
