POSITION: Visiting Assistant Professor, Information and Technology
Management

DEPARTMENT: Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business

SUMMARY: The Satish & Yasmin Gupta College of Business is looking for a
Visiting Professor who can teach Information and Technology Management
courses relating to
process management, IT governance, enterprise architecture, Python, or
program/project management. Experiential learning is highly valued.
Candidates should specify their
teaching interests and related experience in their cover letter. Job
responsibilities include teaching three courses per semester (total of six
courses per academic year). Anticipated start date of August 2016.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepare and deliver lectures to graduate students.
• Evaluate and grade students’ assignments and papers.
  • Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required
records.
• Plan, evaluate, and revise course content, course materials, and methods
of instruction.
• Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to advise and assist students.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIRED:
• Earned doctorate degree (or advanced ABD) in Information Technology or a
closely KNOWLEDGE,   related discipline is required from an AACSB
accredited college of business or from a SKILLS, AND well-regarded,
discipline-specific program.
  • Industry experience and related teaching experience at the graduate
level.
  • Excellent presentation skills and a clear focus on the discipline.
• Knowledge and practice of a variety of instructional methods that ensure
successful student learning.

COMPENSATION: Compensation will be based on an established pay rate.
