The Department of Information Systems at the University of Nevada, Reno, anticipates having one or more tenure-track position available at the Assistant and/or Associate Professor level.  The appointment(s) would begin in August 2017 and are contingent on state funding.

Here is some information about the position(s):

We anticipate seeking academic professionals who will conduct and publish research in information systems and who are dynamic teachers able to explain advanced computer concepts to undergraduate and graduate (master's degree) students. Candidates should be able to develop courses requiring hands-on technical skills and teach upper-division or graduate-level courses in two or more of the following areas:  programming, data communications/networking, systems analysis and design, project management, or cybersecurity.  Responsibilities of the position include teaching undergraduate and graduate classes, producing quality publications in peer-reviewed journals, and participating in university and other service activities.  A PhD in information systems or closely related discipline from an accredited university is required.
