The Center for Information Systems and Technology (CISAT) (https://www.cgu.edu/school/center-for-information-systems-and-technology) at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) invites nominations and applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty member with interests in areas such as Mobile Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, Cybersecurity, and Gamification. The appointment will commence July 1, 2018.

Job Qualifications: Candidates must have or will soon have a doctoral degree; a strong record of scholarship; interest in diverse teaching approaches, students, and populations; and the ability to work with practitioners to arrange and oversee practicums and internships in the focus areas. Specific technical knowledge of one of the four core areas in IS&T (Databases, Software Development, Communications and Networking, IS&T Management) is required. The successful applicant will have a strong track record or impressive promise in mentoring and advising diverse students, especially women and historically under-represented minorities.

The position will include responsibility for teaching graduate courses in CISAT's master's and PhD programs, conducting research for publication, supervising doctoral students and participating in CGU's Transdisciplinary Program. Depending on research interests, an opportunity exists for the faculty member to interface with other CGU programs and schools in the areas of management, applied mathematics, social sciences, public health, public policy, and education. Tenure-track and tenured faculty are eligible for a full-pay one-semester sabbatical leave following six semesters of teaching.
