The School of Information Management at Nanjing University invites
applications for full-time faculty positions at different levels
(Assistant/Associate/Full
Professor, or Postdoctoral Research Fellow) with an anticipated start date
of September 1, 2018.

Nanjing University located in the ancient capital of Nanjing is one of the
oldest and prestigious institutions of higher learning in China. Nanjing
University is consistently ranked among the top few comprehensive research
universities in China. It is a member of "China's Ivy League" C9 League,
and Yangtze Delta Universities Alliance. The School of Information
Management is one of the world-famous iSchools in Information Management
research and education in China. The school has been ranked the 2nd place
in the evaluation of Chinese Ministry of Education on the discipline of
library, information and archive management. The school has been granted as a
National Key Discipline on Information Science since 2007, and a Superiority
Discipline on Library, Information and Archive Management in Jiangsu
Province since 2014. Recently in 2017, the school has been selected into
the national strategy plan of Double-First-Class Discipline Construction
(constructions of first-class universities and first-class disciplines) by
the Chinese Ministry of Education.

We are looking for candidates with strong research background in big data
analytics, business intelligence, blockchain technology, innovation or
knowledge management. Candidates must possess a Ph.D. in Information
Systems or related fields upon starting the position, and show evidence of
excellence in research (publications in leading IS journals). Rank of
appointments is open and salary will be commensurate with qualifications
and experience. The outstanding scholars will be recommended as candidates
for One-Thousand-Talent Program, Changjiang Scholarship, Peak Climbing
Program, or/and National Funds for Distinguished Young Scientists.
