It is with great pleasure that I am announcing the new Editor-in-Chief (EIC) of the Pacific Asia Journal of the Association of Information Systems (PAJAIS). Dr. James (JJ) Jiang will follow Ting-Peng Liang of National Sun Yat-Sen University (Taiwan) as EIC starting on July 1, 2018. T.P Liang is the founding editor of PAJAIS, an Association for Information Systems (AIS) journal that focuses on enhancing the knowledge in information technology management with an emphasis on the research and development in the Asia Pacific Region. Under his guidance the journal has been publishing an issue each quarter like clockwork since 2009. T.P. is currently the President-Elect of the Association of Information Systems and will assume the role of President in July 2018. We appreciate his many years of leadership at PAJAIS and his continued leadership of AIS.

Dr. James (JJ) Jiang of National Taiwan University has a strong record of publication, with over 200 articles in journals including the top journals in the IS and project management fields. His work has attracted over 8000 citations according to Google Scholar. Though primarily a researcher with a quantitative bent, he has published case studies and served as editor over the range of methods.

Dr. Jiang has served in editorial roles for numerous journals in the IS discipline, including senior editor for MIS Quarterly and the Journal of the Association for Information Systems. He is capable of, dedicated to and enthusiastic about continuing to develop PAJAIS as a high level scholarly outlet for research in the Asia Pacific region. Dr. Jiang returned to Taiwan after many years abroad to help promote scholarship and researchers in the Asia Pacific region.

Dr. Jiang was selected by the PAJAIS EIC selection committee that was chaired by Michael Myers. The committee members on the selection committee were T.P. Liang, Jiye Mao, Carol Saunders, Tuure Tuuranen, Doug Vogel, Eric Wang, Kwok Kei Wei. We appreciate the efforts of the committee in selecting such an excellent candidate.
