Dear colleagues,

Happy new year !

Please find below a superb opportunity to visit and spend some research productive and fun time with us at the University of South Australia, in Adelaide, Australia.

The Centre for Tourism & Leisure Management (CTLM) has built a great network with the SA tourism economy and it has created the following visiting Research Scheme to allow international researchers to collaborate and conduct tourism research with us. Adelaide is indeed a living tourism lab.

If you are interested in the Visiting Research Scheme, please e-mail (mgn.research at unisa.edu.au<mailto:mgn.research at unisa.edu.au> ) to receive more information.

with my best wishes
Marianna

COLLABORATE WITH THE CENTRE FOR TOURISM AND LEISURE MANAGEMENT

The Centre for Tourism and Leisure Management (CTLM) is a well-established research centre focusing on tourism, hospitality, events, leisure and sports. As an internationally engaged research centre, CTLM has hosted a diverse range of outstanding multidisciplinary scholars from around the world.

To further enhance collaboration, networks and outcomes, CTLM has launched a Visiting Researcher Scheme, aiming to host outstanding researchers to work with its members. The Scheme will offer up to AUD $4,000 towards the cost of travel and accommodation for each successful applicant, providing visiting scholars with an opportunity to further their own research, work with CTLM members and gain access to a diversified and internationally competitive tourism industry in South Australia (SA). The SA tourism industry provides a living lab to conduct research that features some of the most important and high performing firms and events in various tourism related disciplines and fields.

The visiting scholar will be an active participant in all aspects of the Centre including research and industry engagement and in collaboration with CTLM members, they are expected to develop and carry out a joint research project with the purpose of publishing research findings in a highly ranked academic journal. In addition, visiting scholars will have the chance to experience Adelaide, an internationally top ranked city for its quality of life.

To be eligible applicants must be qualified researchers holding a PhD from an accredited academic institution. The visiting researcher should also be able to provide evidence of their ability to conduct and publish research alone as well as in collaboration with others.
