COMPSAC 2018: Staying Smarter in a Smartening World
Tokyo, Japan
July 23-27, 2018

Special Call for Papers - J1C2:

Authors of journal articles published within the last 3 years or soon to be published in an IEEE journal, are invited to submit a 500-word proposal highlighting new work based on the already-published or soon-to-be-published article. Submissions will be reviewed for suitability, scope, technical content and merit as well as the relevance of the content beyond the scope of the original paper upon which the submission is based.

Presented proposals will be published in the COMPSAC conference proceedings. The accepted proposal and a link to the published original
paper will be included in the proceedings so that conference participants have access to the original paper as well. The purpose of J1C2 is to allow authors to personally present their new ideas to a wide audience, promote discussion and networking, and encourage additional interest in their work. As well, conference participants will be presented with the most recent rendition of authors’ work, and stimulate additional perspectives for the authors to consider.
