The Information Technology (IT) Area in the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia is seeking applications for two full-time tenure track faculty position with open rank, beginning August 2020.

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field in hand by the start date of the appointment. Candidates must also have evidence of progressing to a record of strong research, teaching, and service. The strongest candidates will have: 1) demonstrated the potential to publish articles in A-level IS journals; 2) ability to teach courses related to analytics; project/product management, IS strategy, and/or database management, at both the graduate and undergraduate levels; 3) some level of practical business experience, and 4) the interest in and potential to make internal service contributions.

Currently, the McIntire School of Commerce (www.commerce.virginia.edu<http://www.commerce.virginia.edu>) awards a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, and Master of Science degrees in the Management of Information Technology, Business Analytics, Commerce, Accounting, and Global Commerce. McIntire is recognized for excellence and innovation in undergraduate and graduate business education and scholarship. In various annual rankings of undergraduate and graduate business programs, including U.S. News, Bloomberg Businessweek, Poets & Quants, and The Economist, the McIntire School of Commerce is routinely ranked in the top ten.
