[AISWorld] AIS Response to Coronavirus

Hello AIS Community:


With several regional conferences planned, AIS and the Conference Chairs of PACIS, ECIS, AMCIS and ICIS continue to monitor developments related to COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) and guidance from the World Health Organization (https://www.who.int/health-topics/coronavirus) and other governmental organizations such as the US Centers for Disease Control (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html).


Many attendees have reached out to inquire whether the conferences are still taking place as planned.  As of right now, AMCIS, ECIS, PACIS and ICIS are all proceeding as planned.  AIS and Conference Organizers will take recommended actions to minimize risk as needed and will work swiftly to update members and attendees if any plans change.


As always, please follow guidance from your university and local governmental institutions to help in formulating your decisions regarding conference attendance.
