Call for Chapters
Proposals Submission Deadline: August 19, 2022
Full Chapters Due: October 1, 2022
Introduction
The global society has continued down a path of more connected devices
resulting in an explosion of data and endless possibilities, such as the
rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI). In turn, this has changed the threat
landscape, and not only must this be secured differently but also managed
constructively. The use of data science and AI could allow for more secure
networks and systems; however, at the same time be used to undermind these
connected environments.

Objective
This edited book shall address emerging perspectives in systems security
engineering, data science, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). As the United
States (US) has over 700,000 jobs open in cyber security alone, researchers
and practitioners must begin to discuss and develop a roadmap that allows
for a more secure nation. Specific fields are closely tied to one another.
Therefore data science and AI need to be also addressed. Addressing these
three fields will allow for a more holistic approach for secure computing.
Target Audience
This book targets researchers, academics, and practitioners who wish to
understand and explore new perspectives in systems security engineering,
data science, and AI. This book also offers practitioners who want to
secure their computing environments by deploying emerging practices in
security, data science, and AI. And for academics, it will provide insights
from a practitioner to aid in new research areas to further explore.

to submission. All submitted chapters will be reviewed on a double-blind
review basis. Contributors may also be requested to serve as reviewers for
this project.

Note: There are no submission or acceptance fees for manuscripts submitted
to this book publication, Emerging Perspectives in Systems Security
Engineering, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence. All manuscripts are
accepted based on a double-blind peer review editorial process.

All proposals should be submitted through the eEditorial Discovery® online
submission manager.
