Job Description

The department of Computing and Cyber Security (CCS) is seeking to hire a tenure track assistant professor in computer information systems. The department has several undergraduate programs in computer information systems, computer science, cyber security and engineering. It also has two graduate programs in computer science and cyber security.

Work Performed:
The successful candidate must demonstrate commitment to quality teaching, professional service, and scholarly activities and publications.

Necessary Qualifications:
*             Must have a. Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information System (MIS) or a closely related field by the time of appointment.
*             ABD considered at the rank of Instructor if doctoral degree is not conferred by hire date.
*             Applicants must have a high level of familiarity with the information systems topics and technologies.
*             Candidates should have strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, and initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
*             One or more teaching fields in business analytics/intelligence big data management, management information systems, enterprise systems, web applications, database design, multimedia development, cyber security and computer networks.
*             A relevant certification and/or industry experience are preferred.
