CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

Dates: Monday 15 May and Tuesday 16 May 2023
Venue: Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre, Melbourne, Australia

We are building today an exciting future in which autonomous vehicles navigate complex environments, smart cities help to solve public problems and achieve a higher quality of life, and service robots support social care workers or perform tasks that are too dangerous for humans. All these software-intensive systems must continuously preserve and optimize their operation despite uncertain changes in their operating environment, resource variability, evolving user needs, attacks, and faults. In addition to that, the complexity of these systems demands autonomy, self-management, and self-adaptation.

SEAMS is a CORE-A ranked, ICSE 2023 co-located conference that focuses on applying software engineering methods, techniques, processes, and tools to support the construction of safe, performant, and cost-effective self-adaptive and autonomous systems that provide self-* properties like self-configuration, self-healing, self-optimization, and self-protection. The objective of SEAMS is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government, to investigate, discuss, examine, and advance the fundamental principles, state-of-the-art, and solutions addressing critical challenges of engineering self-adaptive and self-managing systems.

PROGRAM

SEAMS 2023 will feature two exciting keynotes, 20+ interesting presentations of novel research and artifacts from adaptive and self-managing systems community, a lively community debate, and two Most Influential Paper presentations.

Keynote speakers:
  * John Grundy, Monash University, Australia – 15 May 2023
  *   Betty H.C. Cheng, Michigan State University, USA – 16 May 2023

The full program is available at https://conf.researchr.org/info/seams-2023/preliminary-program

We are looking forward to welcoming you in person.
